Greater Memphis on a Mission: Nonprofit of the Week
We are honored to have Reading With Mrs. Richardson recognized by WREG News Channel 3 and Brown Missionary Baptist Church as a featured Nonprofit of the Week through Greater Memphis on a Mission.
What began with a simple belief—that every child deserves access to books and stories that reflect who they are—has grown into a literacy movement serving children and families throughout Memphis and the Mid-South.
Through free book distributions, literacy programming, culturally relevant learning experiences, and Little Free Libraries placed directly in communities, we are working to make books more accessible—one child, one family, and one neighborhood at a time.
More than 9,000 books distributed—and we're just getting started. 📚💙
Our next big dream? Taking literacy on the road with a mobile bookmobile so we can bring books directly to even more children and neighborhoods.
If children can't get to the books, we're going to bring the books to them.
